picking up where we left off...

PA 101, spring

Hello old friend.

I know, it’s been some time hasn’t it? I apologize for my lack of response over the intervening months and I again apologize for my impropriety; I’ll get on to the point. I’m requesting your assistance. As you know I’ve been gifted with a particular connection with the living tree. I’m disturbed with some of the images or should I say lack of images this marvelous tree has provided me, oh…dear! Please forgive me; my nervousness has stricken my ability to compose a legible letter. Allow me to provide some history.

Several months ago a very dear friend of mine was to receive an acquaintance by the name of Len Lightfoot. Len had traveled to the Old World seeking adventure and artifacts well, apparently he had found one. Upon returning he sought out meditation with the sacred tree, I unfortunately can not comment on what visions he may have received from the tree…he did not share them with me. He did however wish to meet with an Elf who lives in an abode near by. He never made it to her. I had later discovered that there was a battle apparently involving Len, I was told this by Anwen the Elf. She had feared something horrible had happened to him and also wished for council with the tree of life. This magnificent tree gifted upon her many visions. I fear, from those visions, something terrible is swirling around us. To compound this I was visited by Nexus Knights who questioned me at length as to the battle involving Len. I was for better or worse unable to answer any of there questions. Perhaps Len foresaw this and spared me any incriminating information. Anwen soon departed, unfortunately that was the last I’ve seen or heard of her. As I have said it’s been several months. I have, on numerous occasions sought out meditation with the tree of life. Oddly the tree has given me no visions on Anwen’s fate. I find this terribly odd and disheartening. In the past the tree has been generous with providing me with glimpses of people that I’m found of yet of Anwen I’ve been gifted with a bewildering silence. Perhaps the tree is only sparing me the horrific fate Anwen may have suffered or perhaps I’m not “the one” that needs to ask the tree for a glimpse into her fate.

Again I apologize for placing you in such an impositions yet our friendship convinces me that you’re the ideal individual with the right contacts to help find out what’s become of Anwen and Len.

With esteem gratitude, your friend
Saron, council member for the Tree Of Life
